I guess the net result of my (admittedly) goofy goal is that I'm avoiding foods that are loaded with HFCS--specfically, soda pop, certain ice cream, most candy, donuts, etc. Perhaps HFCS may be the least of the bad things from these foods, but my goal is keeping me from eating them.

There is controversy and conflicting literature about harm from fructose. The dose of fructose from naturally acting foods is modest is fruit ingestion is likely to provide more benefits than harm.
